RISK HALLELUJAH
HI YOU, WE’RE REALLY GLAD YOU’RE HERE.
A QUEER GOSPEL AGAINST EMPIRE
A Musical and Concept Album In-Process
risk HALLELUJAH is
An unapologetically Queer musical about Jesus where everybody portrays Jesus at some point // A ritual of healing-in-action through the stories of this radical anti-empire ancestor //
A love song to Trans and Queer wholeness in brazen defiance of the Christian Right’s co-opting of the teachings of Christ
risk HALLELUJAH is for
QUEERS healing from spiritual violence:
May RISK HALLELUJAH be an invitation Home
to knowing we are always already sacred.
ACTIVISTS rooted in the spiritual + political as intertwined/
ANYONE dedicated to sabotaging Christian supremacy:
May RISK HALLELUJAH nourish and fortify action.
CHRISTIANS who are yearning to honor the anti-empire roots of their faith (whether they know it or not)
May RISK HALLELUJAH inspire generative transformative discomfort.
